Road Testing

TBAISD began providing road tests in 1997 for residents in Northwest Michigan.  Annually we provide nearly 500 tests for passenger cars, motorcycles, and Commercial Drivers Licenses (CDL) tests.  TBAISD provides testing for many driving needs - not just new drivers.

Our examiners are all certified by the Michigan Secretary of State to conduct road tests.  In addition, they receive on-going training and instruction.

Tests are conducted weekday afternoons and on Saturdays.  Tests are by appointment only and are conducted at the Career-Tech Center, 880 Parsons Road, Traverse City.
